Word on the street says…

That an all electric Subaru is due out in 2021. A Japanese newspaper suggests that a Subaru source claims they are hoping to release an electric CUV that will be based on the Forester or Outback platform. While Subaru is being hush hush on the details, we can assume this car will be built on Subaru’s new Global Platform. Electric and All Wheel Drive? Win-win!

#‎TipTuesday‬: With roadtrip season approaching, have roadside assistance contact information on hand, in case an incident occurs on the road. Also keep a cell phone and charger with you at all times. CAA and many other companies offer smartphone applications that enable motorists to request help without making a phone call.

Don’t forget – it’s almost time to take off your winter tires!

Once temperatures reach a steady 7 degrees or above, it’s time to get them off! At temp’s above 7, the pavement starts to get hot. This heat can wear down and eat away at the soft rubber of your winter tires. This means they’ll wear faster, and need to be replaced sooner. Which you definitely don’t want to have to do. So if you want to keep your winter tires for as long as possible, keep an eye on the forecast and get them off as soon as the weather starts to change! (Oakville forecast: Late April-Early May)
