New 2015 Subaru Offers Safety & Luxury

Subaru has not yet released their own version of this information, but from what we have gathered reading articles about the New York Auto Show, below are some features that the new 2015 Subaru Outback and Legacy have to offer. They will be in stores for July 21st. The official launch date of the Outback and the Legacy will be during the month of July at the National Dealer’s meeting, and the website (subaru.ca) should have full information two weeks prior to that, so keep an eye out for that! In the meantime, get excited by what the Outback has to offer!!!

New 2015 Subaru Outback Features

Safety

Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection System, includes: Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, keeping you safe behind the scenes.Nighttime security lighting that turns on as the driver approaches the vehicle.

Luxury

Quieter Cabin: new acoustic windshield, liquid-filled engine mounts, thicker panels in key locations (floor, toeboard, rear wheel apron, inner fenders) and expanded use of foam insulation and floor damping material.
Improved Sound system and infotainment system, gradually getting more specialized with the premium and limited packages.

Convenience

New step-style doorsill that allow you closer reach to the roof rails.
Power reargate with height memory.
Roominess: passenger and cargo space increases.

Design

Reduced underside cladding.
Lower, chrome grille.
LED headlights
Fog light cladding

Engine

Increased fuel economy: grille shutter system and electric power steering bring engine choices down in fuel spend. Choices are 2.5-liter, four-cylinder boxer engine with 175 horsepower and a carryover 174 pound-feet of torque, or a 3.6-liter boxer six-cylinder with 256 hp and 247 lb-ft exclusively in the 3.6R Limited model.
