Part of the Kerr Street Ministries charity work in Oakville consists of the Christmas Wonders Program, where underpriveleged families receive money for gifts to make the Christimas season come to life. The program takes donations from local families. From the donations, they purchase gift cards in bulk and distributes them to those living below the poverty line. The motive is to have each member of the family receive a $25 gift card for food, and $50 for gifts then they can make the purchase themselves.

We collected money from staff this year during our Christmas Potluck lunch and were thrilled when we received this letter as a thank you from the program.
Here are some of the Budds’ Subaru staff enjoying the potluck. This feast was so generously pulled together by everyone at the store!
We had everything from sweet potato and roasted chicken to sausage rolls, sushi, a deli platter and homemade desserts! It was delicious. 🙂 We were happy to have made the season bright for those less fortunate than us.
